Zoo and other stuff....

Last weekend, we went to the zoo. We met up with Auntie Lynn and Cousin Laura. Here's Olivia just after we got there, waiting for Aunt Lynn and Laura. I wonder what she was thinking about?
We saw this sad little racoon that was in isolation with the groundhogs. I wondered what went down between this racoon and the others. There were PIGLETS!! How cute are these litte guys?
Olivia found the park while we fed Mia. Like her all blue outfit with the blue shoes to match?

Daddy and Mia while Olivia played at the park and Lynn and Laura went to see the dinosaur exhibit.Mia....need I say more?Olivia and Laura dancing in the rainforest.Olivia as a Joey. She looks happy to escape. So, in the past three to four weeks, Mia has learned to crawl, to pull herself to sitting, to pull herself up to her knees, pull herself up to standing and is now walking along her obstacles while she holds herself up. She has found her way into many corners, since she is quite the peanut. Today, she is wearing her nine to twelve month clothes for the first time. She is ten months old. Here she is with the drum sticks from our Rock Band console. How do they taste, Mia?Apparently, she wasn't happy with that part, and is about to try another part of the sticks. Here she is draggin her ring around with her in her mouth - like a little puppy.Look at Mia!! She's practicing to be a door knocker!

A day in the life...

Just some random pictures from our life. Don't you wanna be like us? :-)

So when your sitting and suddenly you hear this paper crunching sound behind you. You turn around and this is what you see...
Mackles McChunky playing with one of the cat toys.On the other side of the couch and into the living room, you have the mobile stylings of our Mia.She is all over the place, crawling, rolling, sitting and now pulling herself up to standing.Yes, she is very happy with herself. However, we have to block off her area of play with a laundry basket (shown below) and dining room chairs. In the same area as Mia, we have Tony, folding a load of laundry. The funny thing is that this is the only load that was folded last week. Funnier still, this load was left over from the week before, and flashforward - is still sitting on the couch. We are AWESOME at putting things away.Olivia got her hair cut last weekend. We have decided to grow the bangs out and not hide her pretty face. She is currently trying out different smiles. Please let us know which is your favorite.Today, Olivia is coloring with the markers that her grandma sent her and using a new smile.Apparently, coloring is SUPER-enjoyable.
