Girly Time....

This past weekend, I finally decided to paint my toenails.  Yeah - they were naked (almost).  Anyone who has girls knows, if you paint yours, you gotta paint theirs.  So, here is a picture or our beautiful, no longer naked, feet.
And who can resist?  When you have them there already for a foot picture, grab one of the faces!
Have a happy and safe 4th of July!!!

Swimsuit fun....

Is there anything cuter than a baby in a swimsuit with their belly out for all to see?
Mia is chillin' in the little pool all by herself.

Just Chillin'......

On a lovely spring day in Chicago, one family goes outside to spray the perimeter of the house for bugs (including spiders - ick), practice at riding bikes, pull out the grill and grill enough meat for dinners all week, chalk up the driveway and to wipe down the motorcycle.  Aren't you lucky we decided to take pictures?

Random Lapinskas Life...

One day, Olivia seemed very pleased with the way she was dressed.  She was exhibiting all the signs of feeling very pretty - prancing around, twirling, posing, vogueing, etc.  I realized on my commute to work, that this would make a good photo op.  So, I called in my assisstant photographer (Anthony), who snapped these pics...

Is it just me, or does the chair behind Olivia almost seem to be giving her devilish horns?  Hmmmm....
 EXTREMEME CLOSE UP.....WHOA!

On a daily basis, I receive drawings from Olivia Van Gogh.  The next morning, she told me that she had forgotten a tail on this puppy.  I think we'll name him Taylor No Tail.
On most days, this is my view....

The end of the activities....

Ahhh.... the end.  Of soccer and dance, that is. Like many other weekend days, we had a hectic schedule to keep.  Last soccer game - good riddance to a bad coach.  And the big dance recital.  The culmination of a school year of dance classes.

This is Mia's favorite part of watching the game - pulling the "flowers."
 How does it smell?
The only game that Olivia started on the field is the game that Tony coached.  Yeah - the coach showed up in the second quarter.  His excuse?  "I thought the game was at one."  It was at 9 AM.  Oh yeah, this is after he decided to blow off practice without a cancellation notice.  At least Olivia was having fun on the bench.

Put me in coach.  I'm ready to play, today.

 Rockin' Awesome Trophy!
After the recital, we took some pics...

This was Olivia's position at the end of her dance number.  It was so cute!!
Did I mention?  Four hours of dance recital that went through nap time.  This is what was in the audience with me....

Mia's guide to playing bags....

Step 1.  Stick face in bag hole to ensure that the hole is competition size.
Step 2. Pretend that you are drunk to throw off other team.  Remeber - PRETEND.
Step 3. Throw bag overhand at other board.
Step 4. Move closer to other board and try again.
Step 5. Walk on top of board for celebratory dance.
Step 6. Keep dancing because you're cute.
