Another week in the life, project 365 week 19.....

This week, I'm tired.  I've been trying to get organized (thank you Google Calendar), catch up on some stuff (blog posts), write more (unpublished blog posts), read more (Kindle), exercise more (new shoes) and in general, just...stop...floundering.

Thursday, May 8:

Miss Mia is so excited to be wearing her summer dresses here.  Now it's gotten chilly again, but thankfully we are having less wardrobe fights.

 

Friday, May 9:

This picture comes courtesy of Mia.  I told Olivia that she had to throw 4 good throws to me and then she could play at the park.  This was after softball practice.

Ahem.  Mother's Day.  I spent the day shopping and reading and failed to take any pictures.

Sad panda face because after 2 cake pops at Starbucks, we said 'no' to the park. :(

Project 365, Week 18...

We've been a bit busy lately.  Normally, I post these on Thursdays (my only night without dance/softball).  But, my last two weeks, Olivia has had chorus concerts on Thursdays, leaving me more worn out and with little time to work on these posts.

Once again, late, but still valid.

Thursday, May 1:

Tony was out of town, once again, leaving me to solo parent.  Do you remember that bird that has been trying to build a nest over my front door?  Well, he's not having much luck.

Seizing an opportunity that both girls are dressed nice, and we can be outside, we had a mini photo session for about 45 seconds to grab some cute pics in front of the garage.

Project 365, Week 17

Better late than never, my mom always said.  So here are the pictures I've been hoarding lately. 

Thursday, April 24:

"Mommy? Can I dress up?" Yes, ma'am.  In last year's dance costume and flip flops.  This kid has some different fashion sense.

 

Friday, April 25:

Acting for the camera, and for laughs.  Daddy surprised us, meeting us at Starbucks, then coming with to Olivia's softball practice.  He got to push Mia on the swings and make her laugh, pretending that she kicked him.

Seriously, this is so....so...hmmm.  I just love this picture.

 

Sunday, April 27:

This highlights the different personalities of these two.  One is fairly low-key, pragmatic, slow to move, thinks things over.  The other is impulsive, outgoing, effusive with affection.
