Sounds like a case of the Mondays....

Ok, so I am back at work today. I came down with my first cold since last December, yesterday. I am not feeling well. Then, due to a snowstorm, my commute went from 40 mins to 2 1/2 hours. I was only an hour and a half late to work today. I have been holed up in my cube trying to get through my 1600 emails, and am down to the 200 real emails that will take up more time. This weekend, we cleaned the house in anticipation of putting up Christmas decorations. We succeeded in decorating the outside, but need more lights. Go fig. We also went to Brandi and Joe's wedding shower. The shower was held at Enchanted Castle. Tony and Olivia played laser tag and skee ball and all those good things. Olivia got a coloring book and a lollipop for her tickets. Mia was understandably crabby as she didn't get to sleep in her bed. Also, we are trying to change her schedule to match up to the family's. We'll see how this adventure shakes out....

Here are a couple of pics of Brandi and Joe opening their gifts. This was a fun shower. Kind of like having a shower at Showbiz (aka Chuck E Cheese). We tried to get a good picture of Mia either smiling or pouting at the camera. However, everytime the flash went off, she would change her expression before the camera could capture her image. This is what we ended up with...
