Olivia lost more teeth in the last month. The first one on St. Patrick's Day. We woke up and Olivia was so excited, she had finally lost the tooth that she had been pushing horizontal out of the top of her mouth. It was truly disgusting - even her teachers were offering to pull that thing out. Anyway, I digress. The next morning, Olivia came into Tony and my bathroom where we were making ourselves pretty for the day ahead. She says "Guess what I got for my tooth?" At this point, I am eyeing Tony, hoping against hope that he had remembered to put something under her pillow, because I had COMPLETELY forgotton. So, I reply, "A dollar?" Olivia says, "Nothing." And stares at us. I panic and say the first thing in my head. "Well, the Tooth Fairy was probably drunk after hanging out with the Leprechauns last night. I'm sure she'll make it up to you tonight."
Two days later, she loses another tooth. This time, we are on our game. Before going to bed, while Olivia was still awake-ish, I told Tony to remember to Tooth Fairy it up. He says ok, and I go to bed. Like deja vu, the next morning, Olivia's in our bathroom. This time she's very upset and wondering why the Tooth Fairy didn't come again! She wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy and everything since the Tooth Fairy slacked two times in a row.
Oy - next thing you know, we'll forget Santa on Christmas Eve.
In honor of Olivia losing her teeth, below are toothless pictures of Olivia.
This is a bonus picture. This is what happens when the girls are quiet in their playroom - Mia walks out like this....
