So - I was inspired by my cousin Emily's latest blog posting - her 600th! Congratulations, Emily! I really enjoy her blog - great pics, funny stories, and heart-warming moments.
We have had a banner week. We were in the ER last Sunday because Mia had such a high temp. That was AWESOME!! (yes, that is sarcasm that you detect). Mia kept her fever (at a lower temp) for four days! On the fourth day, Olivia began her four day stint with a fever. Suffice it to say, I am truly happy this morning that both kids are happy, healthy, and I will be out of the house tonight. I have a date with Brandi! Plans are for Maggiano's, Animal Shelter and a movie. Yay!
This is my 83rd post, no small accomplishment for me!:-) I did get a new camera, and here are the pictures from the past two months or so.
Below is a picture of Tony. He is motivated this morning and is cleaning the house. When he cleans, he always starts with the kitchen and has a towel over his shoulder. I am never sure if it's for drying dishes, hands, or snapping at cats, kids, and Uncle JJ.

This is a guerilla picture. I didn't take it, but found it on my camera. I am not sure if the culprit is Olivia or Tony, but I'm leaning toward Olivia.

Another guerilla picture. Just wait until I find out who is taking mysterious pics with my new camera!

Did you know that our play room doubles as a movie theater? This is the view in the playroom lots of times, usually the only time they are quiet.

Enjoying some wonderful Disney movies.

This is what I see from the kitchen, while working on dinner. Their own private movie theater.

Tony and his giant potato head. I love that face! And yes, my house is messy. Anyone volunteering to clean it? No? Then no judgements.....mom.

The girls and their daddy. Awwww.... Yes, it's a weekend morning, almost noon and we are all still in our pajamas. Oh, we need to get motivated.

Tony and Mia and our swords. Tony and I often have sword fights with our Nerf swords. This is one of the ways we keep our marriage spicy - sword fights.

Practicing with the new camera - meet McMackles, our chunky monkey cat.

This is Layla. I call her our Alaskan snow cat because she has so much fur. Once again, enjoying the light, practicing with the new camera.

Mia, my love.

Check out the awesome cuts and bruises on her forehead. Olivia swears she didn't trip her into their toy cubbies in the toy room. Somehow, I just don't believe her.

No - the playroom isn't a huge mess. It's just your imagination.

Olivia showcasing her awesom purse that Grandma sent for Valentine's Day.

Typical weekend morning. Our kids get up before dawn (between 5 and 6) which is often times too early for us.

Olivia playing with her balloon poodle puppy.

So, you may have heard, we had a blizzard in early February. See the ivory waves of snow in my backyard?

I imagined swimming through this.

Front door drifts....

Yep - that's what greeted Tony when he went to shovel. I think we need to invest in a snow blower.
