Today was a good day....

Today, no child of mine pooped in the backyard NOR did they walk through dog poop in their bare feet.  That was yesterday.

Today, the dog has not jumped up on the table to eat the food left there by my children who do not eat, or clean up after themselves.  Again, that was yesterday.

Today, I worked from home and the dog did not pee in my house.  That was yesterday.

Today was a good day.

So, today, I will share photos with you that have been hiding on my phone, or hanging with pals on Instagram.

Also, before we get into the pictures I want to say thank you to all of the people that have left supportive comments either here or on FB or messaged me on FB.  I love hearing from you and the encouragement and the messages of how I have encouraged you.  This community is just so awesome, I needed to take a minute and thank you.  Thank you so so so much!!!

This happened, thanks to all of you and your support.  70 lbs later and I bought my first strapless dress.  Yes, that is a goofy "I'm in the dressing room at Old Navy, no makeup, bad hair taking a dumb selfie" smile.

The weather has turned nice, suddenly.  The sundresses have emerged from the cold closets and we are airing them out at the park.

Now that the cats come out so little, we have to take a picture when they do.  This time, the dog was blissfully unaware of his audience.

Ice Cream.  Chocolate.  'Nuff said.

I love this picture!  My husband, being goofy with our kids decided that Mia could walk him, put the leash on his pants and pretended to be a dog.  Mia had a blast.  "Daddy, I walk you!"

The dog was getting groomed.

I mentioned the dog peeing in the house.  We have a "belly band" to curb this behavior.  Can't you tell how much he likes it?

This is how she helps me work from home, in the backyard.

My little brother graduated college!!! Whoot!!  Now, after he starts his grown up job, he'll be able to move out of my house.  Uh...please?  Pretty please?  :)

Since the sun has decided to be our friend again, Mia finally found out that her skirt will reflect the sunlight.  She was so impressed.

Another reason to love the Midwest - scenic drives.  This was on Mothers Day.  Doesn't it look gorgeous??  It was about 50 degrees.

Today was a good day.  We rocked the headband and mismatched socks with our sundress.  Thankfully, the socks came off before the sandals came on.

Linking up for iPPP with Greta and Sarah.

  2. How fun!! LoveLOVElove the green dress - although the prize probably goes to the sparkly skirt... Do they make those in grown-up sizes? We're itching for more sunny days here too - doesn't it feel like winter just drrrruuuuugggg into spring this year?
