Lapinskas Family Vacation - Pittsburgh....

So, as you most likely already know, during Olivia's spring break, we took a loooooonnnnnngggg road trip.  We went to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York and stopped in Cleveland on the way home.  Because we have sooooooooo many pictures, I decided to make a 3 part series of blog posts to show the pictures, reminisce and document our vacation.

Our first stop: Pittsburgh.

We started the drive by surprising the girls with "Frozen".  They were both very very excited.  And watched the movie.  Many, many, many times during the drive.

Our first view of Pittsburgh as we drove in.

After checking in, we decided to go up the Duquesne Incline.  While trying to find the incline (the GPS was not being a friend), we saw both PNC Park where the Pirates play and Heinz Field where the Steelers play.

We found the incline, parked and walked up.

Here's a glimpse at the movie star we were traveling with.

Look!!! The incline is a Historic Landmark!  Also, they only accepted cash, exact change only.  So we had to change a $20.  And it gave us dollar coins, that I haven't seen since 2002.

From the top of the incline.  It's takes you to the top of Mt. Washington and we could look down on Pittsburgh from there.

We went walking to find a restaurant for dinner.  We found a tavern and started a streak of taking our kids to bars to eat dinner.  'Cause we're classy like that.

Here's a view of Pittsburgh at night.  It really was very pretty.  And probably the warmest, nicest day we'd have on our trip.

We only stayed in Pittsburgh the one night.  We left the next morning for Philadelphia.  Pittsburgh was very pretty, and we had a good time.  Just remember - cash only, exact change!
