Ahh, the continuation of the long week of single-momness and vacation.
Thursday, March 20: I mentioned that my basement flooded-ish. After we figured out that there was water in the basement on Wednesday night, I talked to Tony, found out we had a shop vac, where said shop vac was, and used it. Then, woke up in the morning to see that all the water was back in the basement, plus more. So the shop vac and I got friendly again.
Later in the day, with the sun shining warm on our faces, and Olivia sharing popcorn in the backseat of the car, Mia posed for me. Of course, she nicely displayed the snack that she was chewing on.
Friday, March 21: Finally, late on Friday, this guy came back home.
Saturday, March 22: The first day of our road trip, we made it to Pittsburgh. We took the "incline" up Mt. Washington. The "incline" is basically a tram, which was fun. If you go, they only accept cash, exact change.
Our trip was "plagued" with googly eyes. This is the only one I got pictures of, but Olivia told us, as she posed for this pic, that she was gonna marry this guy.
Sunday, March 23: Bye, bye Pittsburgh...
Monday, March 24: Now, we're in Philadelphia. We went to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Washington Square (I think that's the name of where this picture was taken, but I could be wrong).
Tuesday, March 25: Now, we've traveled New York, seen the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, checked into the hotel, and walked the few blocks to Times Square.
Wednesday, March 26: Still in NYC, today. We went to see Rockefeller Center, went to the Top of the Rock, and then to Carnegie Deli for lunch. Next, Central Park. This picture is from the Top of the Rock.
