This guy...

Today is Tony's birthday.  This guy.  

This guy that plays the kids menu games with our girls when we go out to eat.

What can I tell you about him?  He makes me laugh, probably daily.  He has a great sense of humor.  He is a great dad.  Sometimes I have to remind him to be patient, but that reminder does go both for him and for me.  Patience is definitely something that I've had to learn.

This guy that shows how fun it is to show exactly what's in your mouth, especially when someone is taking your picture.

Tony mentioned on our road trip that he thinks we are opposites.  Polar opposites.  Sometimes I agree.  We are very different, but alike too.  Just in the right ways.  

This guy, that still loved me when I was 75 lbs heavier and has been there cheering me along while I continue to struggle with losing more weight.

On the trip, we'd come to signs that said "Check brakes.  Prepare to stop."  He followed those orders.  Literally.  Every.  Time.  I almost told him he didn't need to brake every time he read that sign.  But I decided to giggle about it on the inside, while he continued to be the rule follower that he always is.

This guy.

Tony likes to take care of people.  He wants to take care of me, of you, of anyone.  He is a helper.  Always there to lend a hand. 

This guy that is always looking out for us, protecting us.
